I am running XP Pro SP2 I am am trying to set up an FTP site.
When I click on test I get this message almost immediately
Connecting...
Error Active X Component can't create object.
Please help.

If you receive the error "ActiveX component can't create object" when testing an FTP connection.
How to check if the file exists
Click Start, then Search. Type VisualSoftFTP.dll.
If the file is not found, please reinstall ecopy backup.
How to register the file
Assuming the file is located in c:\windows\system32...
Click Start, then Run
Type cmd
Type c:
Type cd\windows\system32
Type regsvr32 VisualSoftFTP.dll
